You'll explore how the project mirrors a real-world system architecture workflow, leading the early planning phases by creating foundational documents. You’ll identify key stakeholder groups across departments and define architectural goals in alignment with business objectives and regulatory mandates. Further, you'll collect and validate both functional and non-functional enterprise-level requirements, capturing critical factors. You will also analyze business processes and workflows to identify system needs and document requirements to support architecture decisions. This foundation for scalable architectural design prepares you to navigate current and future-state processes using tools such as business requirements documents (BRDs) and software requirements specifications (SRSs).

In this module, you will learn about REST API design and microservices architecture, containerization essentials, and DevOps CI/CD practices that support scalable cloud-native application delivery. Finally, you will apply these concepts through containerization and CI/CD practices that automate application build, testing, and deployment in hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
