How do qualifications impact a supply chain analyst’s salary? 

Supply chain analysts typically need a bachelor's degree in an area of study such as supply chain management or business analytics. Gaining additional qualifications may increase your earning power. For example, if you pursue certifications like the Institute for Supply Management’s global credential, the Certified Professional in Supply Management, you could earn an average base salary of ₹10,00,000 [6]. American Production and Inventory Control Society (APICS) Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) could increase your average base salary to ₹20,00,000 yearly [7].

Opportunities for supply chain professionals appear robust, with India taking the lead as the fastest-growing economy worldwide. With a thriving workforce and growing importance in the global supply chain, India is taking the lead. According to BlueWeave Consulting, based in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India's supply chain management market will continue growing at a compound annual growth rate of 11.1 percent through 2030, bringing it to a total value of USD 6,433.24 million. This figure represents a significant increase from its value of USD 3,421.17 million in 2023 [8].

As the Indian supply chain management market continues growing in the coming years, so will the need for supply chain analysts capable of managing, analysing, and optimising them.
