Laura joined UCL as a teaching fellow in Accounting in May 2013. Prior to joining UCL, Laura was a lecturer at Brunel University. Laura has real enthusiasm for accounting and she endeavours to bring accounting to life for her students by focusing on real world cases and current issues in accounting in her teaching. Laura’s research interests are predominantly in accounting regulation, corporate governance and accounting education.Laura liaises with professional accounting bodies, such as: the ACCA, CIMA and the ICAEW and incorporates activities involving these professional bodies in the modules she delivers. Laura has previously worked in industry in a large finance department and has also consulted on international accounting education projects.
