Bio

Gennaro De Luca is a Ph.D. candidate in the School of Computing, Informatics, and Decision Systems Engineering (CIDSE) at Arizona State University (ASU). He received his B.S. and M.C.S. degrees in Computer Science from ASU. His research focuses on Computer Science education and includes the creation of the Visual IoT/Robotics Programming Language Environment (VIPLE) which has been used in the Global Outreach and Extended Education (GOEE) program for faculty from Vietnam. It has also been used to teach at various universities worldwide, including Zhejiang University, Xiamen University, and Beijing University of Technology. His research incorporates artificial intelligence, formal semantic analysis, and pi-calculus. He has published papers in conferences and journals worldwide, including several first-author publications.
