Lisa Garber

Program Manager, Population and Health Sciences MPH

Bio

Lisa has been working in student affairs at the University of Michigan for over 10 years. She earned a bachelor’s from the University of Michigan and a master’s in Higher Education Administration from Eastern Michigan University. Her work focuses on pipelines within education, namely graduate-level access and persistence. Other areas of interest include holistic student wellness, social justice education and programming, and the pursuit of our most authentic selves. Lisa serves as the program manager for the Population and Health Sciences (PHS) online MPH program. She is the "instructor" for Onboarding and Advising, where you will find resources, announcements, and advising sessions duration of your program. She is excited to work with you, and to help you reach your goals. In her spare time, Lisa enjoys running far distances slowly, dabbling in graphic design, and exploring Ann Arbor with her puppy, Luke.
