Deepak worked with the Medical Research Council (MRC) in Cambridge until he joined the Faculty of Medicine at Imperial College. Deepak’s formal training include a PhD degree in Molecular Biology from Cambridge University for which he won a full-scholarship from Cambridge University, research funding from the MRC and a stipend award from the CRUK. He also holds an MSc degree in Molecular Medicine from UCL and a BSc degree in Biomedical Science from India. He is particularly excited about curriculum reform and the use of technology in education.
