Course 1 was great, I love how thorough and easy to follow along with the reading material and the terms taught. I also loved watching their videos and testimonials of the google employees telling us their experiences and insights. I love how google had the transcripts below the video as you can follow along as they are speaking, as you can take notes on the sides.

This is a great introduction to the world of data. Tony is an amazing instructor, I loved his style of discussing the topics. After finishing the course, I now have a very clear idea about the data analysis process, the different kinds of tools and technologies related to it and the different kinds of jobs that data analysts can do. It's a very enlightening course.

The introduction to the data analysis process gives a context and fresh perspective to look at the problems in an organized manner. The brief videos by the experts at Google defining the roles in industry and discussing their struggles at the beginning of their career is very relatable to the initial struggles with the course and gives a confidence to move forward.

This course was great it touched on everyday data and also business data. I helps you to develop an analysis mindset and gives you tools and tips that will help you in your role as a data analyist. What I enjoyed the most is not only does the course focus on giving you the data but by incoperating diffrent learning styles its able to ensure the information sticks.

The way the course is structured it is so encouraging for one to keep on going. You always know which objectives are to be met in every part, you can tell if you have not met them even before the assessment. You can then go back watch the videos and read through again until you satisfied, which is the best way of learning. I love it, i am encouraged to do more.

It really helps me to open my eyes and mind. Good to be back and feel useful again, I know this is the first step and it was the best first step. In some weeks, I feel disoriented about the order the information was presented. Mainly in the first week, so in a way, that push me to put more attention. Great job with this course and excited to start the second one.

I'd like to thank the Google Team and Tony, our main instructor in the first course for the opportunity they provided for learning. The first course offers a fantastic overview of data analytics in general and briefly touches on all the subjects we will learn in-depth in the later modules. Instructions are clear and easy to follow and the subject is fascinating.

I have never been more hooked by a course as I was for this. This course is well structured; taught by a world-class tutor with easy-to-complex exercises. At first, I was overwhelmed by the course duration but I trusted the tutor's reason for making the course duration extensive. I really have got the headstart I needed to proceed to the next phase of the course.

The format, pace, and instructors are top notch!  There were plenty on UX features that made learning and navigating easy to do.  I really enjoyed the reflection work in the course, it was helpful to use my own words and experiences to solidify knowledge.  I also liked the hearing from the different Googlers who shared their personal data analytical experiences. 

This course is a great first step for me to become a data analyst. Content is designed well for beginners. Aims at developing a mindset and not just imparting knowledge. Its well paced and easy to understand with examples from our day to day life. Instructors are professionals and are experts of the field. I enjoyed this thoroughly. Thank you Coursera and Google.

This course is the first one of the 8 courses in this program to certify for being a data analyst.

It is at beginner level, learner's own pace and it is a very organized course.

It opens my mind to the data world with many insights, concepts, foundation of analyticals.

Now I move on to course #2, and my expectation of this program keeps building higher and higher!

Thank you so much. I've learned so much and am actually in the process of having a interview for a Cash Posting Specialist job where I will learn about Data Entry hands-on in thw work environment. I never thought I would be switching fields like this but this experience has been awesome. Hopefully one day i'll get to meet my instructors and thank them in person.

I personally enjoyed learning & taking the first steps towards the Data anlytics Path. What I truely admired about the course was the fact that it really covered the very basic aspects of Data (including tables, excel, SQL etc.) which makes it accessible to every individual who wants to learn even if they have literally no understanding and background of Data.

This course was fun to interact with, even I knew the tools of an data analyst it is very intriguing to learn about how google sets the process to be an analyst. Very pragmatic and straight forward without being overly seriously in providing the information to the students. I am looking forward to the reaming modules as this made me want to learn more about it.

Since i already spent over 30 years as an analyst, a lot of this course was more of a review. However, it was a great to be reminded of all the basics and how they play a most important part in data analysis. I'm glad I took this course. I highly recommend it to anyone but especially those are looking to reinstate, or reinvent, their role(s) in data analysis.

This class will NOT teach you about neural networks or random forests. It will teach you about the important 80% of the other work from breaking down a stakeholder problem into a data problem, cleaning data, finding trends, visualization, and reporting. Importantly, it also provides resources to prepare for applying for jobs including interviewing techniques.

I believe it is a great course, if you are a rookie who knows nothing at all I think it is a good fit, but if you are somewhat more experienced in analyzing data it is certainly too basic, if you have more experience I think your reasonable expectation would be to fine tune some definitions and learn of a lean process for analyzing data in a structured manner.

I thought that with my previous work which also involved data analysis, I already have built a good foundation & gained sufficient experience. But to my surprise, this course provided me with additional information and fresh insight into how data analytics work needed for my new quest as a data analyst. I am looking forward and ready to tackle the next course.

This course covers fundamental Data Analytics knowledge, but what truly stands out is the exceptional guidance and effective training material. Beginners can easily relate to and understand the material, and the abundance of practical exercises and quizzes helps sharpen their skills. I highly recommend it for anyone looking to enter the field of Data Analysis.

El curso es ideal para personas que buscan incursionar en el analisis de datos y abarca muchos conceptos relativamente básicos, pero que te ayudan a refrescar conocimientos que puedes pasar por alto en tu labor diaria.

Hoje ao termina esse curso aprendi muito sobre estratégicas e analista de dados trabalhos com SQL organização de planilhas ser responsável pelo o serviço o trabalhar com serviço de Email , administração e manutenção em rotina problemas e gerenciamentos responsabilidades com um administrador de sistema.

I'm only in my first week, and just getting into the intro module. Found out that I could have applied for financial aid, so I'm going to cancel and re-sign up, but I'm very amazed at how it's going so far, and it makes me really proud of Google and its efforts toward inclusion in education. Thank you also to Coursera for offering thic course, super grateful.

This wouldnt have been possible for me without the financial aid. Being unemployed in a post pandemic world with a 10mth old baby is challenging, but Im hopeful now. So with a grateful heart THANK YOU COURSERA. The way the course is being presented is excellent for a beginner like me. I'm grateful. proud, lucky and happy to be able to learn on your platform.

This course was really programmed, I would assume, with the help of data. It is intentionally built to not miss most of the details of what the course is about. Videos and self-reflection do really help a lot in making the information stick in your head. I could only imagine the resources and the principles this module was based from, it was well thought of.

This is a well-put-together course that deals precisely with what it states it deals with and does so with exceeding clarity and execution. It will set you on the right path if you are a beginner and remind you of core concepts if you need to refresh yourself. There are zero time-wasting or busy work types of assignments. I love this course for its concision.
