Assessing and developing campaigns and brands using visual communication is a skill needed in many fields. This intermediate specialization covers these skills by learning to use typography and mastering the use of color in design pieces. We will also cover basic information on using computer design programs and other online graphic platforms. It is also for intermediate business professionals and even emerging graphic designers who want to understand more about the visual communication and its many functions.
Applied Learning Project
Throughout this specialization, learners will collect samples of elements and principles of design OR write an historical analysis of a brand and analyze design thinking of the brand; design a book cover design OR CD/record cover; design an infographic OR an event poster.
