For the Warm-Up Projects, you must select three of six available projects to complete. If you are more math-inclined, you might appreciate the "Ladder Around the Corner" project. Otherwise, the other five projects ("Country Lookup", "Dinner Sign-Up", "Dynamic Temperature Lookup", "Filtering for Snowy Days", and the "Friday the 13th" projects) all have interesting aspects that make each of them stand out. Peruse the "preview" videos to decide which projects pique your interest. To verify that each of your projects is correct and to earn credit, you must correctly answer several questions in the form of a Graded Assignment (one per project).

Now that you're warmed up, let's transition to some more challenging projects! There are six possible projects for you to choose from for the Intermediate Projects, and you must complete three of them. If you are interested in finance, the "Dynamic Amortization Schedule" project will be right up your alley. Math whizzes will enjoy learning more about statistics in the "Statistics Toolbox" project. The "Dynamic Checklist Sorting" project is an interesting one that will appeal to many of you. The "Historical Weather Lookup (Part A)" and "Rental Center Inventory" projects deal with looking up information in larger data sets. The most challenging project of the bunch is the "Identifying Temperature Excursions" project, in which you will perform a two-way reverse lookup. For most of the projects, you will verify your work using an assignment (you'll be asked several questions related to the performance of your project), but two of the projects ("Dynamic Checklist Sorting" and "Rental Center Inventory") will be graded by peer review. Good luck with the intermediate projects!

Now for the heart of the course - the Main Projects! You'll implement many of the techniques and tools that you've learned in Parts 1 and 2 of "Everyday Excel". These projects are more involved than the intermediate projects. However, in many cases I provide significant hints and suggestions (mainly through screencasts). Therefore, I "guide" you through these projects. You'll be left with a proud, well-earned sense of accomplishment after having done these projects! There are 5 projects to choose from, and you need to complete 3 of them. They are all graded via peer review, so please be sure to make time to review other learners' projects. Good luck!
