In this Specialization, you'll learn how to run large programs end to end and how to use generative AI to do it faster and with sharper judgment.
You'll start with the program lifecycle: definition, delivery, and closure. You'll connect programs to portfolios and organizational strategy, build a business case, program charter, and program management plan, and use the five-step benefits management process to turn plans into measurable value. Next comes the work that keeps programs on track. You'll map stakeholders, build a stakeholder register using RACI, and plan communications. You'll manage change, assess organizational maturity, and structure resources and budgets. You'll calculate payback, ROI, IRR, and NPV, use earned value management as a governance tool, and apply the PMI Code of Conduct. Then you'll add AI to the toolkit. With ChatGPT, Google Gemini, and Microsoft Copilot, you'll map program components, draft roadmaps and dashboards, generate risk registers, and support knowledge transfer while checking AI outputs for bias.
By the end of this Specialization, you'll be able to:

Throughout this Specialization, you'll practice on realistic programs, not just read about them. Hands-on activities and guided projects put you in the program manager's seat across retail, e-commerce, consumer goods, and pharmaceutical scenarios. You'll develop a portfolio of programs and projects, write a program charter, and build a program roadmap. You'll create stakeholder registers, communications management plans, resource breakdown structures, benefits registers, and risk registers. You'll assess organizational maturity, run retrospectives on definition and closure scenarios, build a cash flow diagram, and compute key financial metrics. You'll also prompt AI tools to produce work breakdown structures, roadmaps, status report templates, and executive dashboards, then review and refine what they generate. Much of what you build is portfolio-ready work you can show an employer.
