You can ask ChatGPT to help you brainstorm ideas for academic papers, write social media posts, summarise books, review grammar, or write computer code, among its many tasks. Since its launch in late 2022, ChatGPT India’s users can query ChatGPT with various questions that can help them find answers for professional, personal, or educational use, depending on their needs.

The site’s advantages include the ability to efficiently execute a task, improve the quality of content, enhance productivity, or handle multiple queries at once. ChatGPT plugins may help streamline your tasks and help you enjoy an improved experience. Let’s explore ChatGPT and its plugins to understand the potential better. 

What is ChatGPT?

ChatGPT is a popular form of generative artificial intelligence (AI) that allows you to make queries and get answers in a conversational form. OpenAI created ChatGPT and launched it online in India in November 2022. The company followed that up with the launch of ChatGPT Plus in February 2023 to enhance users' experience who decide to upgrade their access for a fee of $20 a month, or roughly ₹1,670 [1].

Why use ChatGPT plugins?

You can use ChatGPT plugins to connect your favourite third-party services with the power of ChatGPT’s AI. Additionally, doing so enables you to get more from your ChatGPT experience. For example, users who upgrade their ChatGPT plans to access ChatGPT Plus can unlock the site’s upgraded GPT-4. Features in GPT-4 include using ChatGPT plugins to enhance your experience even more and earn focused answers that are more specific to your needs. For example, you can install and enable plugins to help you see a summary of different reviews for a product you’re interested in buying. You can also use it to find other flight and hotel accommodations for your next vacation.

1. PromptPerfect

Knowing how to properly prompt ChatGPT to get the best answers to your queries is important, but it may still be hard to figure out who to prompt a new technology best. PromptPerfect can help you hone your basic prompts into more construction queries based on precision, accuracy, and clarity to develop a more descriptive dialogue. 

The plugin’s changes to your basic prompt can give you better results for your projects when using ChatGPT’s interface. You can stick with ChatGPT or use PromptPerfect for other AI models and then compare results to see which one gets you the preferred answer.

2. Kayak

Travellers in India and worldwide use websites like Kayak to find the best deals on hotels, flights, and more. Now, Kayak has introduced a plugin for ChatGPT to help users find more precise recommendations or better deals with a more conversational style through ChatGPT. You can ask ChatGPT to help you find a good hotel near a landmark or personalised recommendations with specific travel parameters, like finding the best flight destinations within a budget.

3. SEO Assistant

SEO, or search engine optimisation, is essential to get your content seen by targeting popular keywords that search engine users may utilise to find your content. WebFX’s SEO Assistant plugin can help you get more eyes on your content. This plugin gives you a list of keyword suggestions to add to your content to maximise the chances of it getting picked up by search engines and seen by more internet users.

4. Scraper

Sometimes, you come across a website with a long article or information and want a summary or shorter version of what’s there. Paste the URL into the Scraper plugin and some additional prompts, like asking it to summarise a story, find images, or generate specific information from the page. The plugin will take that information and work for you to get an answer in ChatGPT.

5. OpenTable

Need some recommendations for dinner tonight? Ask ChatGPT with the OpenTable plugin. Give ChatGPT your parameters for your next reservation. For example, if you need to find a romantic place for a date or a restaurant with a private room for 12 people, you need to input the details. OpenTable can take your request and give you options that fit your specific criteria. If you see one you like in particular, click on the link, and the plugin will automatically direct you to the OpenTable website to make a reservation and book a table.

6. Canva

Canva is a graphics program that allows you to make social media graphics, flyers, newsletters, worksheets, and more. The website can be a little overwhelming, or you may not have time to sort through Canva’s many templates. That’s where ChatGPT can help you out. Use the Canva plugin to ask for templates for sales at your small business or worksheets to help students with numbers or letters. The plugin will help you find options to click on and edit in Canva.

7. Wolfram

ChatGPT can handle math, real-time data, and visualisation with the Wolfram plugin. The Wolfram plugin can answer questions like the distance between two cities or answer detailed math problems. The plugin also allows you to ask for a visualisation as part of your prompt inquiry, such as a map showing geographic data or math charts and graphs to visualise computations.

8. Milo

It can be hard to balance different schedules, but Milo can help you organise the chaos at home. You can prompt Milo by asking it about events on your family’s calendar for the week or send reminders when you have pending items on your to-do list or calendar. It can also convert things like screenshots and emails into data that can be used to generate AI responses for family queries.

9. Code Interpreter

ChatGPT does have some limitations when it comes to computing math or dealing with data. However, Code Interpreter can bridge those issues by working as a ChatGPT plugin to help boost math and data skills. You can use spreadsheets and data files to create maps and bat charts or have it help you solve math equations, among other uses.

10. VoxScript

Sometimes, you may prefer a summary of a video rather than watching it. That’s where VoxScript comes in. The ChatGPT plugin allows you to input a link to a video on YouTube to get a summary of that video. You can use it to find out what topics are covered in the video or analyze it so you don’t have to sit and watch it.
