Bronwyn Bevan is Associate Director of Program at the Exploratorium, a museum in San Francisco. Bevan serves as Principal Investigator on the NSF-funded MSP Research+Practice Collaboratory; the California Tinkering Afterschool Network; and the NSF-funded Relating Research to Practice project. Bevan’s work focuses on how institutional settings shape opportunities for learning. She is co-editor of the Science Learning in Everyday Life section of the journal Science Education. Bevan holds a doctorate in urban education from the CUNY Graduate Center.
