Bio

Up till 2016, Jeroen de Wilde worked in the city of The Hague as a Youth Health Care Physician. Next to this preventive medical work, he worked as a staff member on quality control, practice guidelines, health monitoring, project management, and data management. His research revolves around physical growth in different ethnic and socioeconomic groups, with a focus on children of South Asian descent. Jeroen has been teaching medical students in public health since 2014. He is responsible for further developing the public health curriculum of the bachelor in medicine. He has a special interest in student-centered, online and interactive teaching methods.
