Bio

"What are your strengths and weaknesses?" I used to stumble over these questions in interviews. (I still dislike them as interview questions.) My answers were cliche, timid and uninspiring. In 2014, I was introduced to Clifton Strengths Finder and that changed my perspectives on what "strengths" and "weaknesses" meant. In 2017, I took the leap to become a Gallup-Certified Strengths Coach. I learned that individuals who tapped into their strengths were 6x more likely to be engaged (in other words, productive) at work and 3x more likely to report having an excellent quality of life. I am not suggesting that we ignore areas that we can improve on. Instead, we should tap into our existing strengths to achieve our personal and professional goals. Since becoming a Gallup-Certified Strengths Coach, I have used Clifton Strengths Finder to help MBA candidates to define their professional brand, articulate their leadership style, and find focus in their career pursuits using Clifton. In 2018, I launched my own coaching practice to work with mid-career professionals seeking to advance or pivot in their careers.
