Dr. Dye is the Associate Chair for Research in Obstetrics & Gynecology at the University of Rochester, Director of Bioinformatics of UR's Clinical and Translational Science Institute, Editor-in-Chief of the Maternal and Child Health Journal, and Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Pediatrics, Public Health Sciences, and Medical Informatics. Dr. Dye serves as Principal-Investigator for many global and locally funded projects. One being the Clinical Education Initiative, sponsored by the New York State Department of Health AIDS Institute, where he directly oversees implementation of educational health coursework in the topics of Drug User Health, STDs, HIV, and HCV. Dr. Dye is a medical anthropologist and epidemiologist who obtained his PhD from SUNY Buffalo.
