In this course, we’ll see how all of the knowledge we have gained about DNA and life is being used to help make our lives better. We’ll see how this critical information has been used to develop new drugs for healing previously intractable diseases, and how we may one day be able to correct genetic defects in people with devastating illnesses. We’ll also discuss the ethics of this science and where it is properly applied.
