This course will help you identify the most useful technology tools for specific projects and situations.
You will employ lifelong learning strategies while being introduced to well-established and emerging technology tools, tutorials, and resources. You will then have the opportunity to practice with them. You will be encouraged to create an ePortfolio or personal learning journal that demonstrates your competency with a variety of tools, which can be integrated into your personal, academic, and professional work.
The greatest reward for participating in this course is learning more about how to be an independent learner and how to use technology tools to enhance your life.

What is the difference between the #EmTech course and EmTechWIKI?
The full title of this course is “Exploring Emerging Technologies for Lifelong Learning and Success.” EmTech is an abbreviated title. #EmTech is our social media hashtag. A hashtag is a term used to identify a keyword or topic of interest, helping to categorize and track topics for related information searches.
#EmTech has two components: the #EmTech course is a structured environment in Coursera that provides content, community, and sharing opportunities. EmTechWIKI is a socially curated discovery engine for finding tools, websites, mobile apps, tutorials, and resources. You will be directed to visit EmTechWIKI to find tools and technology resources needed to complete the Discovery Exercises in each module.
EmTechWIKI is a collaborative space where anyone can make edits and updates to keep the collection current.
When will I have access to the lectures and assignments?
