The Introduction to Business Analytics teaches you the foundational skills in Tableau and business analytics. You will be introduced to essential concepts like analytics and insights and the foundational steps of the business analysis process. You’ll learn about the different types of analytics that businesses use, and you’ll be introduced to a data analytics lifecycle framework. You’ll also learn some of the foundational project management skills often used by analysts, and you’ll arrive at a greater understanding of data literacy. This course is for anyone who is curious about entry-level roles that demand fundamental Tableau skills, such as business intelligence analyst or data reporting analyst roles. It is recommended (but not required) that you have some experience with Tableau Public, but even if you're new to Tableau Public, you can still be successful in this program. By the end of the course, you will be able to: -Demonstrate a foundational knowledge of the business analyst role. -Describe the data analytics lifecycle framework. -Explain the foundational project management topics and skills used by a BI analyst. -Describe data literacy and its importance for a BI analyst.

This course has way too much reading and too little video's. I'm on Coursera doing these courses so I can watch video's explaining the material since this is a way of teaching that works much better for me. If I want to read about this I can just Google it or ask an AI for the material.
Dreadfully boring and slow-paced. You're better off doing the Google BI Certificate.
Easy and straight-forward introduction to some of the basic principles of what the role of a BI analyst does and how they can contribute to the success of a company. Personally I just completed the Google Data Analytics Certificate so all of this felt like a nice refresher, and if that's the case for your situation, I'm sure it will feel the same.
This course is mainly text-based, which is not my preferred way of learning.

The graded quizzes, had questions that were not even near to discussed in the course. Or they had questions that were taught later. This course felt more like a marketing gimmick then actual teaching

As promised and after a little bit of a scare there with the 8th course I am now changing my review. The Professional certificate throughout all the 8 courses involved in attaining it was at times intense but worth every minute committed. I enjoyed learning more about Tableau and its interface through the creation of specific visualizations created from accessible data/data sets.
I know a lot of people have complained about the course being reading-heavy, but that's how I learn best. In previous video-heavy courses, I felt like I wasn't processing the information well, but this is a much-appreciated change of pace. The material isn't dense, and it's friendly to those of us who aren't super familiar with business analysis. I'm for sure going to continue!

A lot of my doubts on B.I, Data Analytics and Business Analytics were only solved through this course. There is a lot of valuable knowledge here that you will not find easily on the internet. I should say, however, it's easy and fast. If that's what you're looking for, it's perfect.
