Throughout the course, learners will participate in interactive AI-supported role plays, practical exercises, and testing activities that simulate real software testing projects, helping bridge the gap between theory and industry practice. By the end of this course, learners will be equipped with the knowledge and practical skills required to participate effectively in software quality assurance activities within Agile and traditional software development environments.

This module introduces the fundamentals of software quality and testing (SQAT) and all its concepts. It covers the quality terminologies, software quality fundamentals, an introduction to software development life cycles and the seven principles of testing. Understanding the fundamentals of software quality and related concepts is essential for building high-quality software, ensuring regulatory, compliance and security have been met, minimising costs of error after the software is in production, and lastly and most importantly, providing delightful user experiences in using the software which meets users' expectations.
