  1. Set up and overview of the project

  2. Create a GitHub token and repository and link with an R project

  3. Set up Google service account and grant access to Google Drive and Google Sheets APIs

  4. Set up Gmail credentials and GitHub secrets

  5. Load the readmission model and the data and make predictions

  6. Format prediction columns as percentages

  7. Write an automation script for prediction

  8. Create an RMarkdown file and automation script to send customized emails

  9. Create the YAML file for GitHub Actions

  10. Run automation tasks on GitHub Actions

Recommended experience

Knowledge of R (dplyr, tidyr, functions, control structures), familiarity with GitHub for code management, and basic use of the command line.
