The Bachelor of Science in General Business from the University of North Texas is an ideal program for you if you are seeking a bachelor’s degree in business from a top research university that delivers both on flexibility and affordability. The program is priced competitively and offers high value when compared to similar programs. If you want to take your education further with an MBA, you can obtain your master’s in just 36 credit hours instead of 48.

Admission Criteria & Important Information

Who is this degree for?

  • Those with transferable college credits looking to advance their careers.

  • High school graduates who have been participating in the workforce and would like to advance or change their career pathway.

  • Adult learners who are looking for an affordable way to earn their bachelor’s degree online around their work, family, and other life responsibilities.

  • Individuals who plan to achieve their bachelor’s in business and prepare for an MBA.

If you will be transferring in credits from another institution, please note that these transferable credit hours will need to be reviewed by Ryan College of Business advisors prior to admission into and consideration for the program. Generally, college-level courses completed at regionally-accredited institutions will transfer, provided that the course is similar in content and scope to courses and credits in the BSGB. Business-related courses will require additional review based on AACSB accreditation and will require a grade of at least a “C”. This review allows for the best optimization of courses.

If you have technical/vocational experience or military experience and are looking to complete your bachelor’s degree, UNT’s Bachelor of Applied Arts and Sciences degree could be a fantastic fit. Learn more here.
