This self-paced course introduces Transformative Climate Resilience Education and supports teachers, educators, and facilitators in navigating the emotional, relational, and ethical dimensions of climate change and sustainability.

Moving beyond climate education based mainly on facts and information, the course explores how learning can strengthen resilience, connection, creativity, and collective agency. Through three modules, you will explore transformative climate education, five key competence areas, and practical approaches for working with climate emotions, connection to self, others and nature, values and worldviews, regenerative futures, and collective action. The course combines short videos and readings with the CLARITY Teachers’ Guide and a Toolbox of 50+ practical activities. You are invited to reflect on your own learning journey, experiment with tools in your educational setting, and adapt them to the needs of your learners. The aim is to support learning environments where climate-related emotions can be acknowledged and where learners can engage with uncertain futures in thoughtful, connected, and constructive ways.
