Moving into a management role requires sound judgment, clear priorities, and the ability to support others. Across four courses, this Specialization helps new managers and emerging leaders develop a practical leadership approach, manage competing demands, empower team members through trust and listening, and strengthen resilience. Learners will apply these skills to everyday supervisory situations while supporting their own well-being and sustainable team performance.
Applied Learning Project
Learners apply the concepts through case studies, practical exercises, and course assignments addressing common management challenges: prioritising competing demands, making decisions with incomplete information, delegating work, and giving constructive feedback. They also develop approaches to managing pressure and supporting team well-being that they can use in a new managerial role.
