Concept art is about building worlds, characters, and spaces that feel real, connected, and ready for production. This specialization teaches you to think and work like a professional concept artist, using Adobe Firefly as your creative partner across every stage of the process.
Across three courses, you'll move from foundational world-building to fully realized characters and environments. You'll start by defining a world's systems, rules, and visual language, producing a complete World Blueprint. Next, you'll design characters grounded in that world's logic, translating personality and narrative into visual form and building a Character System Pack. Finally, you'll design lived-in environments that reflect your world and characters, using light, scale, and composition to bring your ideas to life in a complete Environment Design Pack.
Throughout the specialization, you'll work in Adobe Firefly Boards to organize inspiration, build reusable visual systems, and maintain consistency across every image you create. Rather than producing isolated visuals, you'll develop an interconnected body of work: a world, a character, and a set of environments that all belong together.
By the end, you'll have a portfolio-ready pipeline of concept art assets and the professional workflow to keep building. Whether you're pursuing games, film, branding, or original IP, this specialization gives you both the creative thinking and the practical Firefly skills to bring imagined worlds to life.
