<span>Joyce Tyldesley gained a BA in archaeology&nbsp;from the University of Liverpool and a D.Phil in Prehistoric Archaeology&nbsp;from Oxford University. She holds an honorary doctorate from The University of Bolton and is an&nbsp;Honorary Research Associate of The Manchester Museum. Joyce is the author of a series of best-selling books on ancient Egypt. Her most recent book, <i>Tutankhamen’s Curse</i> (published as <i>Tutankhamen</i> in the USA), was awarded the&nbsp;</span>2014 Felicia A. Holton Book Award by the Archaeological Institute of America. Joyce is currently a Senior Lecturer in Egyptology at The University of Manchester, where she teaches a suite of online Egyptology courses to students all over the world.
