Very useful for getting a first approach of common linux commands and avoid feeling intimidated about using tools from an OS different than Windows or Mac. More practice in real life is needed after this course to master all the commands, but you will surely learn how to learn more about the commands.

While there was some missing info in the peer review that I knew how to get around from writing bash scripts and using cron before, overall this course was great. I learned a lot of new info so I should be able to write even better bash scripts and move around linux more efficiently.

the course feature a great shell scripting lesson but the test/assignment contain some ambiguous instruction that could lead to the reduction of your score during the test. Anyway, it does not matter that much because ,in the end you will learn about the commands.

The files in "important-documents.zip" of the Final Project has expired modified-date. Please update the file so that the conditional for loop could store files in the array.

Bu in overall, the course is well explained. Lab works are good. Pretty enjoy the labs.

as a beginner who doesn't have any IT background, this course help me to getting basic knowledge in bash scripting. This course is easy to understand, and will you give practical session to help you deepen the course material.

The contents are great! It's a challenging course. My only concern is the real-world usability for data management / engineering since Linux capabilities are not very powerful at handling data.

Excellent course to dive into Linux shell, however the final project has an issue related to the name of one specific variable which could lead to peer's appreciation error while evaluating it.

Great course, but I think it has room for improvement when it comes to the command options... not very well specified and you get tested on them.

All is good except final peer review task.

You have to make a lot of screenshots and your peers sometimes put 0 for correct answer for example when you write 86400 instead of 60*60*24

Some areas of the course were at a good pace, and then nearing the command section I felt there was lacking in some of the explanation of commands and it felt quickly skimmed over.

awesome overall but some the labs were questionable. Sometimes the code hints didn’t work. I had to spend a lot of time on Linux laptop using Man pages to figure things out.

The course starts with basics about linux, but than goes to super rapid pace when moving to bash scripting. Overall a very good course for starting with linux

Challenging but quite rewarding course. Learned a lot of skills, practices are harder than the final exam :D Please do not skip those practices!

Great introduction to Linux shell scripting. Some instructions in the final project were inconsistent with expected output. But not a big deal.

The course was very informative; however, the final project was quite difficult for me to follow/understand what was being asked to do.

The peer grading is terrible. Getting answers marked wrong even though they were correct.

Good course, well laid out and the quizzes / assignments built on top of each other.

The course is well-structured, but I believe is not sufficient for the DevOps role

The robot voice of the lessons makes it boring. The environments are nice to use.

Some things weren't covered in the theory section but were in the final project.
