This course 1 is so clear that I can even apply it to my daily routine! I want to explore more about Project Management. Thank you, Google: Coursera for making this happen to those who lack knowledge.

The main presenter started off a bit rough, a little unwelcoming in his mannerisms. However, he keeps a solid composure, and he presents the material VERY clearly (which is the important part). After week 1 or so, he seemed to have polished his skills, and he became a better presenter whom I learned the most from. The activities are nice to do. The drag and drop is useful and interesting. The wording of tests can overlap and cause confusion in the "select all" answers in which they want nearly verbatim answers from the miles of text you read. They should really label "how many" need to be selected per answer when the 3rd or 4th answer isn't inevitably incorrect. The downloadable reading is really nice and helps supplement the content. I like that they repeat and reiterate things because this develops memorization of it. The worst parts of this are the peer interactions which aren't forced, but feel completely useless. If it were highly trained peers in similar levels of knowledge, critique would be useful. In this case, not really. I suppose if you're lonely, it is beneficial. I didn't feel a whole lot of energy going around when I did skim the commentary. Most people didn't even seem to understand the questions or implications desired. Also, at least half of the very quick videos of employees as examples in day-to-day life were absolutely useless, and I felt I got nothing from it except filler time. I don't mind filler time when working toward a requirement though. However, most of them couldn't present half as well as the main guy, didn't seem to be professional at all, and they really didn't strike me as anything near a leader or manager. That being said, I'm ready for part 2. I'm excited for more hands on experience, and I am looking forward to getting better teachers.

It was a good course. Good enough for me to want to continue to the next course.
The tests and examples were great and easy to follow, no changes there.
For someone who is extremely organized, the videos where challenging to outline. For someone else with a different personality, it was probably perfect.
The platform is a bit challenging to follow, for example, I am unable to find the course I just completed on the 'Completed' tab.
It was very repetitive and had a bit too much fluff. The course could have been much shorter and save us some time.

This course was not only too easy (which might be understandable as the Foundation of PM) but there was no creativity possible with answering the questions (typical test approach here you have to stick to the definitions in your responses) and the whole course is based mainly on "talking", which is not the best option for PM principles. I also observed quite limited interest of other participants in optional activities.

Completely waste of $40. Information of this course could be in 1 video, since it is basis. Of course they enlarge it for 4 weeks to say that it is a course and get your money. Most of information is like "nice to know", but not applicable for the real job. So, you can get this info for free or buy cheaper course which will be more useful for your career. The only good point of that course is a certificate of completion. It will work for your CV, HRs like "Google" certificates and other stuff like that.

I appreciate the effort and resources put to create this course, it's very well organised, but I feel that the content is too basic. I found that there's so much material and you need to spend so many hours just for an introduction. I'd prefer to summarise more this content and put more focus and dedicate more time to the tools that project managers should use in their everyday.

This is a joke. You can pass the entire course without listening to or reading any of the course materials because this is all common knowledge or easily figured out just with a basic level of common intelligence.

Dear CourseEra Team,
I recently completed the "Project Management" course and wanted to share my thoughts on the experience. Overall, I found the course to be very helpful and informative. The course was well-organized, with clear modules and easy-to-follow instructions.
Throughout the course, I learned about the foundational skills of project management, the different types of roles and career paths available, and the project lifecycle. The course also covered various approaches to managing projects, such as agile and waterfall methodologies. I particularly appreciated the real-world examples and case studies that were presented, which helped me to better understand the concepts and apply them in a practical setting.
The instructor had an engaging style and was effective in delivering the course material. They were knowledgeable and provided valuable insights and tips throughout the course. I also enjoyed the interactive quizzes and assessments, which helped me to reinforce my learning and track my progress.
One highlight of the course was the section on risk management, which I found challenging but very rewarding. The course could have been improved by including more practical exercises or case studies to further develop the skills and knowledge of the students.
In conclusion, I would highly recommend this course to anyone who is interested in learning about project management or wants to enhance their existing skills. It would be especially useful for new project managers or individuals who are transitioning into a project management role.
Thank you for providing such a valuable learning experience.
Best regards, Jalil Asif

I'm not new to project management, but I am new to the concept of project management as a role. Through this course, I've learned that a lot of my current and previous work has involved a lot of project management and employing project management practices. I do not have any professional learning in project management outside of work experience, so this is my first time diving into project management training. I would recommend this course to anyone training in project management for the first time. I found the course 1) really friendly to the user- the format and concepts are laid out simply and in an easily digestible manner. They are also accessible - all videos come with transcripts. I also appreciated that some of the quizzes, which can be retaken multiple times, were knowledge-based and not just based on memorizing a definition; 2) affirming - I was able to identify myself as a project manager and better understand where I fit as a PM in my current role. I feel much more confident about what I can bring to the table because now I have a sense of what I do know and am good at and where I can grow and evolve; and 3) I feel more prepared to enhance my resume and job search based on the tools provided, and I feel I can more confidently speak to my experience when I get interviews.

Interesting and informative course. It will provide the foundations in the professional activity of project management. In addition to technical and practical knowledge, in the process of studying, you begin to understand yourself and the psychological processes of procrastination. Since training is to some extent your project, which you need to complete. In the process of learning, you begin to understand yourself as a project participant, your behavior and reactions when you encounter some external and internal problems.
In my case, the learning process was complicated by not knowing English and learning in the process. those. when you don’t have a basic skill to master the main subject, the process is delayed. There have also been external global circumstances where everything seems to make no sense, including this course and training. And you have to overcome these thoughts and circumstances, move on, like any project manager. Given that this is a long course of 6 months, I think that everyone is faced with something similar and this is an internal psychological work, an additional wonderful bonus from taking the course. To understand yourself and team members, the ability to motivate, support and move the project towards the main goal and completion.
